As a Sr Specialist, Global Procurement International Market, based in Tokyo, Japan, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures while driving operational excellence.

This hybrid role combines purchasing operations and vendor maintenance, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to global procurement activities and collaborate across diverse teams.

A Typical Day:

• Manage approved purchase requests (PRs) and create accurate purchase orders (POs) while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Analyze POs for closure and coordinate with suppliers for invoicing and future transactions.
• Resolve invoice holds promptly to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, validate vendor information, and maintain accurate records in Oracle, Zycus, and other systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, including ABAC and Infosec, to ensure supplier compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Treasury, Tax, and A/P to uphold regulatory standards.
• Lead day-to-day operations for travel, corporate card, and fleet management in the Japan market.

To Be Considered:

• Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in vendor maintenance or procurement roles, preferably in multinational companies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in financial administrative functions and familiarity with vendor compliance processes.
