Overview:
The Buyer will source materials, products, and services from qualified vendors, while meticulously monitoring costs, quality, and delivery to ensure alignment with our business model and requirements.
Responsibilities:

• Issue purchase orders for sales, production, and stock needs
• Respond to price and delivery requests for non-stocked items
• Evaluate stocking levels to minimize inventory
• Negotiate with suppliers on price, lead time, and quality
• Conduct vendor audits, inspections, and negotiations
• Use inventory management programs like JIT, MRP, and E-commerce
• Coordinate with Product Managers, Material Control, and Production
• Maintain product ownership, including purchase price and lead time
• Ensure accuracy of purchase order delivery dates
• Develop relationships with suppliers
• Communicate professionally with team members and suppliers
• Provide performance feedback to suppliers
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications:
Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 1-3 years of experience or education in procurement, inventory management, or a supply chain related field
• Proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools like Power BI
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams,
• Familiarity with purchasing techniques, including RFQs, blanket orders, and product demand discounts to enhance strategic costing capabilities.

Preferred:

• Foreign language skills
• CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management) certification
• CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification
• Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
