The Buyer is responsible for procurement activities for indirect commercial categories.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Driving procurement activities for indirect commercial categories including but not limited to IT, HR, Marketing and Professional Services. Cross functional collaboration with interconnected teams such as legal, finance and compliance to ensure execution of related initiatives.

  • Driving process efficiencies, delivering cost savings and providing detailed contract commercial term review. Ensuring RFP process completion (where applicable) and effective negotiation of contracts. Evaluate supplier costs and ensure that the contract reflects negotiated and standard commercial terms.

  • Collaborate with internal business partners to create and confirm thorough business requirements. Identification of direct or RFP negotiation procurement strategy, RFP development and execution, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, risk mitigation and supplier monitoring.

  • Champion procurement as a strategic partner and encourage internal functions to engage Procurement.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree with related experience preferred.

  • Indirect commercial procurement exposure

  • Support team in negotiation, contracting, execution, and contract review

  • Proficiency in developing and executing procurement strategies, change management and communication

  • Understanding of commercial legal issues, contract principles, contract redline process and negotiation practices used in the execution of contracts

  • Workload management, efficient and effective communication skills and significant experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Share Point

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and other applications such as Service Now, Smartsheet a plus

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
