Job Description

The AMR Team's partner in Rockwell Automation customers' success by managing their daily challenges and generating value through optimized design and standard work. Purpose of you will be procure and provide optimized supply routes for many goods and services for engineering maintenance, repair and operational manufacturing support sourced transactionally and in volume. The Buyer will work with the Rockwell AMP (partner) to deliver efficient customer-driven procurement support. You will be require a close working relationship with functional leaders, AMR Team members, Asset Management Professionals, and vendors.

On this position you will report to Global Indirect Procurement SR. Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Request For Quotation and Purchase Order related activities in ERP/CRM system within given time frames with focus on service, cost and value.
  • Work with AMR Team, partners and vendors to ensure delivery and payment issues are resolved promptly
  • Manage vendors tactical performance following business Goals.
  • Ensure procurement data consistency and process understanding of SLAs.
  • Support supplier selection, negotiations and business reviews.
  • Build productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Communicate with partners and provide necessary support and information.
  • Apply company procedures to resolve standard issues. Provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Lead low and mid-complexity project assignment based on our priorities.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Supply Chain related areas (ie. Logistics, Economics etc.)
  • Procurement or Supply Chain management experience will be an advantage
  • Communicative English skills both written and verbal (B2 minimum)
  • Additional language skills will be an advantage, especially German
  • Use standard MS Office tools (applications and cloud), especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint (functions, formatting)
  • Well-developed sense of priority
  • Good work organization
  • Data analysis skills
  • Understanding of basic Supply Chain interdependencies
  • Work with cross-functional teams in multicultural environment
  • Continuous Improvement oriented
  • Yy work with unexpected changes, easily adapting
