Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generates and maintain purchase orders based on MRP demands and/or Min/Max requirements with supervision.

• Coordinates purchasing activities with Manufacturing, Planning and Engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.

• Support EBS new item request.

• Tracks Supply Chain and Operational project schedules as it relates to Commercial Purchasing activities.

• Assist the team lead with purchasing decisions that support targeted pricing strategies, desired inventory levels and the best total cost material procurement possible.

• Supports Supplier Relationship Management strategies.

• Supports and executes category strategies.

• Ensures compliance to the Dexcom Quality system and maintain department documentations

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in relevant discipline; preferably having 3-5 years working experience in direct purchasing.

• EBS Oracle desired but not mandatory

• Self-starter and proactive in driving results.

• Basic understanding in demand management and production plans.

• Able to understand configuration management as it relates to item master and bill of materials.
