Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Apply understanding of technology and cybersecurity products, licensing models, and emerging tech trends.
• Manage Technology contracts: Negotiate contracts with a focus on technology-specific clauses such as software licensing terms, cloud service level agreements (SLAs), data privacy, intellectual property rights, and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
• Supporting client-facing solutions: Collaborate closely with sales, product owners, and client service teams to source and deliver technology solutions that directly impact client offerings and service delivery.
• Supplier Risk Management: Assess and manage supplier risks related to cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and compliance with industry regulations, working closely with Legal Counsel, Data Protection and other stakeholders. • Enabling digital transformation: Support procurement activities that enable the company’s digital transformation efforts, such as cloud migration, SaaS adoption, and integration of advanced cybersecurity tools.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work directly with technical teams (GTS, DFIR, TAS, C&I, Internal Security) to understand technical requirements and ensure sourcing decisions meet operational and security standards.
• Participate in sourcing and contract management for projects that involve highly sensitive data or critical infrastructure, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality, compliance, and risk mitigation protocols
• Innovation and Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor emerging technology vendors, startups and market challengers, contributing to innovation and competitive advantage for the cybersecurity business.
Functional and Technical Skills:
• Previous experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or
supply chain management, ideally in a shared services or
multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of technology procurement, including
software licensing, cloud services, IT infrastructure, and
cybersecurity products.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, ISM) advantageous but not
essential
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with contract review, supplier onboarding, and basic
financial or commercial terms.
• Understanding of procurement compliance, supplier risk, and
ethical sourcing practices.
• Experience using eSourcing tools and ERP systems preferred,
but not essential.
• Experience in working a global matrix organisations, with
exposure to multi-jurisdictional procurement operations, cross
border contracting, and localisation of sourcing strategies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, information security in supplier
onboarding and contract negotiation desirable but not essential.
• Prior exposure to global procurement operations or working
with international stakeholders is preferred.
