About the Team and the Role
At eBay, we are committed to enhancing the global buyer experience, ensuring frictionless transactions, and driving sustainable growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Buyer Experience Manager to join the International Markets Expansion team (IME) at eBay in Toronto, Canada. This role plays a pivotal role in leading critical initiatives to optimize the buyer journey and drive improvements that impact millions of international buyers from 150+ countries. This role sits within a high-priority company initiative and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to complete ambitious goals. As a key leader in this domain, you will influence product strategy, drive operational excellence, and contribute to eBay’s broader success.
What You Will Accomplish

Act as the domain expert and inspiring leader in the buyer experience space, identifying challenges and opportunities to enhance the international buyer journey.

Develop and implement data-driven strategies that improve buyer engagement, satisfaction, and conversion.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Operations, Customer Support, and other teams to prioritize and implement impactful solutions.

Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and foster continuous improvement.

Influence decision-making at all levels by presenting insights, recommendations, and cases to senior leadership.

Stay ahead of industry trends and buyer behaviours to define the strategic direction of eBay’s international buyer experience.

Continually monitor eCommerce-related details in our top markets that influence cross-border trade or the buying experience on eBay (e.g., tariffs, import regulations).

Champion buyer advocacy, ensuring the voice of the customer is central to product and experience enhancements.
What You Will Bring

5+ years of experience in buyer experience, customer experience, product management, operations, or a related field.

Strong leadership and critical thinking skills, with the ability to influence across teams and senior partners.

Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, problem-solving, and translating insights into action.

Proven ability to develop robust data-driven cases that support critical initiatives.

Strong competence in using persuasion to navigate a matrixed organization, driving prioritization and execution of key initiatives.

Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, capable of articulating complex concepts and driving alignment.
