As a Buyer Chemicals (Fedrigoni Special Papers), you will play a key role in the transformation of a Corporate Procurement team with the ambition to be the Best in Class. The impact you’ll have:
- You will contribute to managing the procurement of chemicals for the Business Unit, being involved in the global commodity strategies implementation with a specific focus in the sourcing execution.
- You will foster long-term partnerships with suppliers, acting as their focal point for supplier visits, business reviews and negotiations, price lists and quality management.
- You will manage the order processing workflow, ensuring strategic stock management in accordance with the production plan.
- You will maintain effective relationships and communication with internal key stakeholders, such as Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality and Finance.
- You will prepare and conduct negotiations with suppliers regarding commercial terms, payment conditions and delivery terms in collaboration with the Regional and Global Commodity Managers.
- You will prepare and analyze performance, risk, and sustainability reports for business meetings.
- You will conduct comparative analysis about suppliers’ capabilities and cost drivers to gain insights and improve spending efficiency and effectiveness for the raw materials.
- You will support the execution and tracking of innovation and sustainability projects in line with our business and ESG targets.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role in Procurement, Planning or Supply Chain.
- Passion and interest in the Procurement area.
- Negotiation and cost-benefit analysis skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, analytical approach, project management skills.
- Drive and initiative, high energy, and ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Eagerness to work in a team and foster partnerships across departments in an international environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluency in Italian and English.
