Essential Responsibilities (activities):
- Responsible for managing the cost, quality of process, by issuing/managing purchase orders, maintaining delivery schedules and establishing clear communication rhythm to assure customer expectations are met.
- Identify alternate sources for assigned items to assure best in market conditions is obtained and/or negotiate best commercial conditions with current suppliers.
-Supplier registration in the system.
-Send purchase order with all necessary specifications and requirements.
-Promotes Follow up of quotations and purchase orders.
-Acts as a facilitator between technical area or stakeholder, suppliers, international trade, and tax areas.
-Achievement of deflation target.
-Develops and / or participated in projects aimed at productivity gains, cost savings and / or TAT, in the internal and external environment.
- Manage import process (including authorization shipments and analysis of documentation).
Qualifications/Requirements (Experience/Education)
- Bachelor’s degree ( in progress) : Business Administration, Economics or Engineering.
- Knowledge in sourcing process
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal communications, and negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Intermediate English
- Lean Manufacturing Knowledge
- OASIS SAP Knowledge
