Tradeweb is looking for a Buy-side Sales Executive, based in our Dubai office, to drive the continued growth of Tradeweb’s franchise across the Middle East.

Your experience to date will include building and developing a sales pipeline, establishing new contacts within existing accounts, and developing relationships and identifying opportunities with new and prospective clients across the region.

You will have deep relationships within the Middle East institutional investor community, excellent interpersonal skills, and a flexible style suited to building relationships with a broad range of clients. You will demonstrate the tenacity and commercial focus required to identify opportunities, develop them effectively and close deals.

Ideally, you will have a strong understanding of Fixed Income products and OTC Derivatives, together with a good understanding of how these products are traded electronically in the Dealer-to-Client environment. Experience working with institutional investors, including asset managers,  banks and other relevant buy-side institutions across the Middle East, is key.

Based in Dubai, you will work closely with Tradeweb’s regional and global teams, collaborating with colleagues across Europe, the US and Asia. You will be expected to leverage and share client and market intelligence to maximise growth opportunities and contribute to Tradeweb’s broader Middle East strategy.

Job Responsibilities

•    Play an instrumental role in growing Tradeweb’s Middle East franchise from our Dubai office, across Fixed Income, Derivatives and relevant Equity products.

•    Manage, build and develop key relationships with the Middle East buy-side customer base, establishing yourself as a trusted and knowledgeable point of contact for clients across the region.

•    Develop relationships with new clients and broaden Tradeweb’s engagement within existing accounts, identifying new users, desks, products and workflows that can drive greater adoption of the Tradeweb platform.

•    Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, taking ownership of opportunities from initial engagement through to execution.

•    Educate clients on Tradeweb’s products, functionality and electronic trading solutions, providing presentations and demonstrations as required.

•    Develop and execute the Middle East buy-side sales strategy, working closely with regional and European Sales, Client Services, Specialist Sales, Product and other internal teams.

•    Develop a strong understanding of clients’ electronic trading workflows and requirements, including relevant technology, connectivity, clearing and settlement considerations.

•    Help maintain Tradeweb’s position as a market leader within Dealer-to-Client Fixed Income and Derivatives electronic trading by staying informed about market developments, evolving client requirements and competitor activity.

•    Provide relevant regional market and competitor intelligence internally to support product development, sales strategy and Tradeweb’s broader growth ambitions in the Middle East.

•    Represent Tradeweb professionally with senior stakeholders across the region and develop long-term, trusted client relationships.

•    Travel frequently throughout the Middle East to meet existing and prospective clients and support the continued expansion of Tradeweb’s regional franchise.

•    Deliver an exceptional level of service to clients and respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

    Deep and established relationships across the Middle East institutional investor community.

•    5-7 years of experience

•    Strong network of contacts across relevant buy-side institutions in the region.

•    Extensive knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives products.

•    Strong understanding of electronic trading and e-commerce within financial markets.

•    Demonstrable experience developing client relationships, building sales pipelines and generating new business.

•    Understanding of institutional client electronic workflows and associated technology considerations.

•    Knowledge of clearing, settlement and post-trade processes is desirable.

•    Strong commercial judgement and ability to identify opportunities across clients, products and workflows.

•    Excellent communication, relationship-management and presentation skills.

•    Arabic speaker is a plus

•    Results-focused with a demonstrable commitment to achieving high standards.

•    Ability to operate effectively with senior stakeholders across different markets and cultures.

•    Strong team player and effective communicator, with the ability to collaborate across regional and global teams.


Location, Working Hours & Travel
This position is based in Tradeweb’s Dubai office and will have responsibility for clients across the Middle East.
Working hours will be aligned with the requirements of the Dubai office and the regional client base. Flexibility will be required to support clients and collaborate with Tradeweb teams in other global locations outside normal working hours when necessary.
The position will require frequent travel across the Middle East.
