Your role at Clorox:

Results-driven Operations and Manufacturing Leader with extensive experience leading production teams in fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environments. Proven ability to drive operational excellence through strong leadership, employee development, safety leadership, continuous improvement, quality management, and cost reduction initiatives. Skilled in coaching supervisors and frontline teams, managing production schedules, improving productivity, reducing losses, and achieving key performance indicators across safety, quality, service, efficiency, and cost. Experienced in Lean Manufacturing, root cause problem solving, inventory management, workforce development, and change management. Recognized for building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and delivering sustainable business results while maintaining operational and housekeeping standards. Strong communicator with a hands-on leadership style, committed to driving production performance, employee engagement, and operational excellence in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams to achieve operational goals across safety, quality, productivity, cost, housekeeping, and service metrics.

  • Drive employee engagement and career development through performance coaching, training, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.

  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with company standards and production requirements.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies to eliminate losses and improve operational performance.

  • Conduct daily Gemba walks to identify improvement opportunities, reinforce safety expectations, and support frontline teams.

  • Manage staffing, workforce planning, timekeeping, attendance, payroll, and employee performance for direct reports.

  • Lead and facilitate tier meetings, loss analysis discussions, and performance reviews to drive accountability and business results.

  • Support production scheduling, changeovers, start-ups, shutdowns, and operational readiness activities to ensure schedule adherence and efficient operations.

  • Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to prioritize equipment reliability, preventive maintenance activities, and process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems, operating procedures, housekeeping standards, and workplace safety requirements.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized work instructions, job instruction breakdowns (JIBs), and training documentation to improve consistency and workforce capability.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, prioritize corrective actions, and drive sustainable improvements.

  • Support new product introductions, process changes, and capital projects through effective change management and operational readiness planning.

  • Promote employee recognition programs and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and execute loss reduction strategies focused on labor efficiency, downtime reduction, waste elimination, and cost savings.

  • Ensure completion of operator training requirements and compliance with company training standards and certifications.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


–Zone A: $90,900 - $170,100

–Zone B: $83,400 - $155,900

–Zone C: $75,800 - $141,700
