providing analysis, forecasting, or reporting financial information, your application of accurate financial business practices will play a fundamental role in how we impact the quality of life for patients all over the world.

How you will make an impact:

  • Report Enhancement: Improve variance reporting, develop OPEX forecast-over-forecast waterfall charts, and identify and report on financial risks and opportunities.

  • Headcount Analysis: Analyze headcount types, track headcount composition and changes, and calculate and report retention/turnover rates.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance and strategy teams to present mockups, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to reports.

  • Data Processes: Create repeatable and scalable processes for data to ensure efficient report maintenance.

  • Report Maintenance: Take responsibility for updating reports throughout the internship.

  • Strategic Plan Support: Assist with the completion of strategic plan deliverables and evolve templates by platform/function/trial in preparation for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

What you'll need (required):

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited University for the entire duration of their internship

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

  • Must graduate December 2025 or later.

  • Must be in good scholastic standing (3.0+ GPA or equivalent)

  • Must be available to work 10-12 weeks full-time over the course of the summer.

  • Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience within the healthcare and life sciences industry is a plus.

  • Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.

  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment. Ability to multi-task while working in a fast paced environment.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for presenting findings and collaborating with teams; ability to explain complex data clearly and concisely.

  • Data manipulation and analysis: Ability to identify trends, variances, and key insights.

  • Data Visualization: skilled in creating clear and effective visualizations, charts, pivot tables, and graphs using Excel (Intermediate- Advanced Proficiency).

  • Problem-Solving: Critical thinking to identify areas for improvement and an innovative mindset to implement new solutions.

  • Collaboration: Effective teamwork skills, openness to feedback, and willingness to make adjustments based on input.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust templates and reports based on evolving needs; learning agility to quickly adapt to new tools and techniques.

  • Leadership experience: volunteer, clubs, team sports, extra-curricular activities, special projects, etc.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $54,000.00 to $72,000.00 (highly experienced). 

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).  Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
