About the Role

This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.
The role drives the execution of strategic priorities through effective project governance, business case evaluation, performance monitoring and executive reporting. It partners with stakeholders to identify risks, implement mitigation actions, and ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives and business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of enterprise-wide strategy and transformation agendas, translating strategic priorities into clear outcomes, initiatives and delivery roadmaps
  • Partner with senior leaders to shape strategic choices, assess opportunities and trade-offs, and support decision-making on growth, efficiency, capability-building and organisational transformation
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across business, functional and regional teams to mobilise resources, resolve dependencies and accelerate execution of priority transformation initiatives
  • Establish a clear view of transformation progress, value creation and strategic impact, using performance insights to identify risks, opportunities and required course corrections
  • Champion transformation disciplines that strengthen accountability, ownership and delivery confidence while remaining focused on business outcomes rather than process compliance
  • Generate actionable insights from business performance, market trends and strategic progress to identify opportunities that support organisational priorities and long-term value creation
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and change management activities to build commitment, manage resistance and embed new ways of working across the organisation
  • Develop executive-level narratives, strategic updates and recommendations that clearly communicate progress, implications, decisions required and expected outcomes
  • Support annual strategic planning, business reviews and transformation prioritisation by connecting strategic ambition with execution capacity, investment choices and measurable impact
  • Build transformation capabilities across teams by sharing good practices, developing reusable approaches and promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, business management or consulting, preferably with exposure to Insurance or Financial Services
  • Proven ability to think strategically, structure ambiguous problems and translate complex issues into practical choices and actionable plans
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and judgment, with the ability to use data and insights to support business decisions
  • Demonstrated experience leading or enabling transformation initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment and sustained behavioural change
  • Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, build trust and mobilise teams without relying solely on formal authority
  • Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to develop clear narratives, compelling recommendations and concise materials for senior management
  • Strong execution discipline, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain momentum and balance strategic ambition with practical delivery constraints
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across functions, geographies and levels of seniority
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
