Business Transformation Manager - Hospitality Business

Summary

The Business Transformation Manager will play a key role in driving and executing the transformation strategy of the Hospitality Business Unit (BU). This role will support the definition and execution of the business transformation journey, and drive the initiatives needed to deliver on the BU’s long-term objectives. Key responsibilities include the design of business transformation initiatives and leading their execution to ensure strategic objectives are converted into measurable outcomes. The Business Transformation Manager will collaborate closely with Hospitality leaders to enable the organization’s transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy and business design:

  • Collaborate with BU leaders to shape transformation goals and priorities, ensuring the Hospitality strategy is translated into measurable actions;
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify performance gaps, business inefficiencies, and capability needs;
  • Design target operating models, governance frameworks, and business capabilities aligned to future-state ambitions;
  • Translate business design and target operating models into actionable transformation roadmaps, including milestones, dependencies, and KPIs;
  • Define the strategy to reach the target model, ensuring a smooth implementation of the transformation plan.

2. Delivery of business transformation projects:

  • Lead business transformation projects end-to-end using business and industry methodologies and best practices;
  • Produce presentations to support decision-making and investment approvals;
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and cross-functional working sessions;
  • Oversee the execution of business transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth transitions and successful project delivery;
  • Mobilize, influence and collaborate with a complex ecosystem of cross-functional and cross-business senior leaders and align them to deliver recommendations at the highest level of excellence under very tight timeframes.               

4. Internal Training and Development:

  • Develop and implement training plans, including upskilling programs, to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge;
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

About the ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience in Strategy, business transformation, organizational transformation, or related field;
  • 2+ years of experience in managing large-scale projects, ideally within a complex, cross-functional environment;
  • Strategic consultancy background is a plus;
  • Ability to analyze data and trends to inform strategic decisions;
  • Strong skills in managing multiple projects and ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets;
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms to support transformation initiatives;
  • Fluent English.
