First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Business Transformation Analyst to join the Retail Deposit & Lending Services Team.
Compensation:
The pay range for the role is $80,000 - $120,000/yr; commensurate with experience
The successful candidate may be hired at either the Officer or Assistant Vice President (AVP) level based on experience, skills, and demonstrated qualifications.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)
The Business Transformation Analyst supports key initiatives that modernize and streamline business operations by analyzing processes, identifying automation opportunities, and helping implement scalable solutions. This role blends business analysis, data insights, and light project management to improve efficiency and enhance customer and employee experience. The analyst partners with leadership to evaluate new technologies and transform manual workflows into automated, future ready processes.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, MIS, engineering, data science, related field or equivalent experience required.
- Master’s degree in business, computer science, MIS, engineering, finance and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience desirable preferred.
- Business or Data analysis experience preferred.
Officer Minimum Qualifications:
- Four (4) years of relevant process improvement, business analysis, automation, system development, or project management experience required.
AVP Minimum Qualifications:
- Six (6) years of relevant process improvement, business analysis, automation, system development, or project management experience required.
All Candidates:
- Process & requirements: process mapping (Visio/Lucidchart), requirements documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT planning/support.
- Data & analysis: intermediate/advanced Excel; experience pulling and validating data; ability to interpret metrics and trends.
- BI/Reporting: Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools; basic SQL is a plus.
- Work management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar, preferred).
- Automation exposure: RPA tools, workflow automation platforms, low-code/no-code tools; understanding of control design within automated workflows, highly desirable.
- Comfort partnering with Technology teams to understand system constraints, release cycles, and change management/testing expectations.
- Good oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
- Must have strong analytical skills to simplify and deconstruct complex processes into clear, actionable activities using business process methodologies and considering timing, scale, and business context.
