As a Business Systems Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Serves as delivery manager for custom application development efforts, managing delivery timelines, building and prioritizing product backlogs, and coordinating with developers and leadership to ensure applications are developed to user specifications
- Leads quality assurance for custom application development, including performing integration testing and creating, maintaining, and monitoring automated regression tests
- Acts as primary point of contact for production support efforts for applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and conducting user training sessions
- Leads product documentation efforts including creation and maintenance of user guides and knowledge base content
- Analyzes support trends and usage data to drive process improvements and implement preventative measures that reduce recurring issues
- Partners with leadership on product discovery, requirements gathering, build vs buy analysis, and implementation planning
We expect that our Business Systems Manager will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or related field strongly preferred; accounting education/experience a plus
- 4+ years of experience in business systems analysis, with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Product ownership or delivery management experience
- Proficient in MS SQL for querying, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking capabilities
- Excellent written, oral communication and documentation skills; able to communicate complex technical answers to non-technical people
- Customer service-oriented with a track record of building strong stakeholder relationships
- Flexible with changes in hours during busy season and able to assist after hours/on weekends if needed
