The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking an experienced Business Analyst; this position will allow for full time telework from any U.S. based location.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to support our Innovation and Automation team. This role will be a direct line to the customer, partnering with leaders across the functions to identify opportunities that are fully aligned with the business; ensuring that all transformation activities whether it is AI, automation, or process design is directly supporting enterprise priorities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Data Analysis & Insights
- Gather and analyze user feedback, usage patterns and adoption metrics across innovation and automation platforms (e.g., chatbots, AI assistants, process-mining tools).
- Develop dashboards and monthly reports highlighting performance, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate insights into recommendations that enhance user experience, efficiency and business alignment.
*Feature & Use Case Management
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to capture, document, and refine business use cases that drive automation and AI adoption
- Evaluate new platform capabilities and vendor solutions (such as Moveworks or process mining tools) for organizational applicability.
- Collaborate with project managers, test engineers, and developers to ensure business requirements are validated, prioritized, and translated into actionable technical deliverables.
- Maintain and continuously refine the backlog of potential automation, AI and chatbot use cases.
*Operational Support
- Oversee daily operational health of automation and AI platforms to ensure data integrity, feature functionality and successful ingestion of enterprise content.
- Monitor dashboards and performance metrics to proactively identify issues or improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to track enhancement requests, deployment timelines and change impacts.
- Support ongoing adoption efforts through training materials, user communications and performance reporting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 8+ years of experience in a business analyst, operations analyst, or similar role.
- Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, charts) for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to synthesize data and feedback into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exposure to AI-powered platforms, enterprise chatbots, or IT service management tools.
- Familiarity with Moveworks or similar conversational AI/automation platforms.
- Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello).
- Interest in intelligent automation, AI, and enterprise digital transformation.
