- The Business Systems Analyst role will handle the Finance Accounting and Insurance business processes. Particularly, the IFRS 17 standards, Finance Applications and Processes: Procurement, Payments and Fixed Assets.
- To define, analyze and create Business Requirements Document for Finance and Actuarial – IFRS 17 requirements and Finance Accounting enhancements.
- To provide support on analysis and investigations of any issues raised by business users.
- To conduct end-to-end impact analysis/assessments to determine the required requirements for accounting. This is to ensure that gaps are identified.
- To provide support on requirements gathering, analysis and documentation for project of other application teams.
- To provide support and coordinations between Systems/Application Teams and Business Users.
- To ensure that IT deliverables are complete and signed off in accordance with PMO – Governance guidelines.

- Experience in IFRS 17 Insurance and Accounting standards.
- Experience in Finance Business Processes: Sub-ledgers, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger.
- Experience in working with Insurance company or related financial institution and understand its business processes.
- Experience in data analysis and accounting reconciliation.
- Knowledgeable in SDLC and Agile methodology.
- Knowledgeable in Testing Processes.
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Keen understanding of the details
- Able to work under pressure, coordinate multiple assignments at once, and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)
- College graduate preferably with IT or Finance Background.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst experience in IT and Finance.
- Experience in insurance, finance and/or banking applications is preferred (e.g., Sub-Ledger, General Ledger Applications, insurance policy administration).
