Compensation
The compensation for this role is $22.00 hourly.Job Summary
Through various responsibilities an intern in this position will gain an understanding of how data is collected and used in L2L by Work Cell Leads and Production Line Managers. They will be able to observe and support the coordination of organization activities, understand how to identify surface problems in Production and create and implement process improvements. This position would also support inventory audit and control.Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Learn how to manage documents and training for production teams and management via L2L software.
- Support the Systems Data Analyst in ensuring data is collected correctly in all areas for accurate reporting.
- Work with Process Engineers and Quality team to assist in updating and creating SOPs and WI.
- Assist the Systems Data Analyst when partnering with Production Managers, Line Managers and Work Cell Leads, ensuring standard work processes are being followed, L2L is utilized to is capacity, 5S and workplace organization activities are being driven, and manager/employee training/mentoring is being performed.
- Assist with training departments within Purple on all aspects of L2L.
- Other daily tasks, projects, and duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Education, Experience:
- Student who is actively working towards a Bachelor's degree in Data science, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or other related field
- Working knowledge of computer use and common programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable with L2L software and willing to learn all aspects of the program
- Experience with Netsuite preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed and process-oriented
- Success with managing multiple tasks and a high volume of work
