The Business Systems Analyst will help connect business objectives with technology solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, supporting solution design, and enabling delivery teams to create secure, scalable, and customer-focused outcomes. This role is suited for a collaborative problem solver with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and partner with teams to deliver solutions that create value for customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Requirements Elicitation and Management: Plan, elicit, analyze, document, and communicate functional and non-functional requirements with pod members and business stakeholders. Maintain clear, current, and audit-ready documentation aligned to DEF and TD BDD standards.
- Business Process Analysis: Assess current processes, understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend future-state enhancements aligned with business goals and TD standards.
- Solution Design: Translate requirements into system specifications and partner with technology teams to support design, build, testing, and traceability to business needs.
- Testing and Deployment Support: Support testing and implementation activities to help ensure outcomes align with requirements and business expectations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business and technology partners, clarify requirements, resolve questions, and support shared understanding of business and technical solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Build knowledge of TD services, applications, business domains, tools, and delivery practices, and apply insights to support effective solution delivery.
What You Bring
- Education: Undergraduate degree in a related field and/or relevant certifications are an asset.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related corporate role.
- Agile Delivery Knowledge: Knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology, delivery practices, policies, and procedures.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of SDLC, business systems integration, process modeling, data analysis, reporting, and tools such as Microsoft Office, Confluence, and Jira.
- Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to develop practical recommendations and manage information accurately.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor information for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at different levels.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
