Job Purposes
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the robust operation and continuous optimization of our business systems (SWING / Dynamics 365) and existing Excel/VBA macro architectures. You will act as the central pillar for data process continuity, delivering critical automation solutions to streamline daily operations, ensure data integrity, and empower business units.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • System & Tool Ownership:Take full ownership of the SWING system's day-to-day data support for cross-regional teams and maintain existing VBA/ODBC tools to ensure zero business interruption and prompt problem-solving.

  • VBA Development & Maintenance:Design, develop, test, and maintain complex VBA macros and Excel tools to automate repetitive business processes and data reporting.

  • Independent Execution: Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned automation requests—from requirement gathering to deployment—managing your own timeline effectively in a fully remote setting.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Document logic clearly and communicate proactively with stakeholders and other data/IS specialists to align on technical standards and project milestones.

  • Global Migration & Process Transition: Collaborate with finance teams and external consultants to understand transition demands. Participate in system testing and drive the migration/scaling of regional automation tools (e.g., from Asia to Europe) to ensure global alignment.

Business Expertise/ Knowledge

  • Industry Acumen:Minimum of 3 years of proven experience operating within a multinational manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics environment.

  • Cross-Functional Operations:Deep understanding of how different business units (e.g., manufacturing plants, logistics hubs, and finance departments) collaborate.

  • System & Process Awareness:Strong conceptual understanding of enterprise business workflows. Familiarity with the data logic behind ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365).

  • Commercial & Financial Context:Solid foundational finance knowledge to accurately interpret commercial reporting requirements and ensure the automation tools you build align with broader organizational objectives.

Job Requirements and Qualifications 
Must Haves:

  • Core Technical Skills:Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in VBA and Excel. You must be able to write VBA from scratch and debug complex legacy code to ensure seamless data flow between Excel tools and backend databases.

  • Problem Solving & Execution:Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and manage competing deadlines.

  • Language:Fluent in spoken and written English(Business level).

  • Working Style:Highly self-motivated and disciplined. Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.

  • Database:Good knowledge of SQL for data querying & manipulation (SQL Server).

Nice to Haves:

  • Modern Stacks:Familiarity or interest in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) or Office Scripts.

  • Language:Chinese (Mandarin) – Preferred.

Programming:Basic knowledge of Python.

Travel Requirements 
Willingness to travel internationally (primarily within Asia and Europe) on short notice as required.

Skills Required
