Position Summary:

The Business Analyst / QA Tester is a hybrid role that combines analytical and testing expertise to ensure project requirements are accurately gathered, understood, and fulfilled. This role is critical in bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring the highest quality standards for our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business analysis and quality assurance, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Create detailed business, functional, and technical requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Facilitate workshops and meetings to clarify requirements and ensure alignment among all stakeholders.

2. Quality Assurance & Acceptance Testing: 

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and user stories. 

Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure product quality and functionality.

Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues in a timely manner.

3. Process Improvement & Documentation:

Continuously assess and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and quality of deliverables.

Document test results, analyze testing data, and produce detailed QA reports to communicate findings and insights.

Contribute to the development and refinement of QA methodologies and standards.

4. Collaboration & Communication:

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.

Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and progress to stakeholders and management.

Participate in sprint planning, review sessions, and retrospectives, contributing to the overall agile development process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or QA Tester, preferably in an agile environment.

Strong understanding of business analysis, requirements gathering, and QA testing methodologies.

Proficiency with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, Postman) and business analysis tools (e.g., UML diagrams, flowcharts).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

 Experience with [relevant programming languages, database systems, or software specific to your company, if applicable].
