We're looking for an organised and customer-focused Business Support Coordinator to join our team in Castlecliff, Whanganui. This role will play an important role in keeping our operation running smoothly while supporting field crews, project teams, suppliers and customers.
At the heart of our operation, the BSC will ensure the team has everything they need to deliver critical infrastructure services to our communities.
Day to day responsibilities: 

  • Process purchase orders, goods receipting, payroll information and other administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Provide friendly and professional support to customers, visitors, field crews and internal teams across the Whanganui Rangitikei region
  • Coordinate efficient office operations tending to meeting rooms, training facilities, stationery, PPE and uniform requirements.
  • Maintain accurate plant utilisation records, business documentation and filing systems.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier bookings, and general office correspondence.
  • Promoting Downer's Zero Harm culture and commitment to workplace safety.
