JOB DESCRIPTION:Join Our Team as a Business Support Administrator at Abbott Diabetes Care!Location: Witney, OxfordshireThe OpportunityWe are looking for a dedicated Business Support Administrator to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Witney. In this role, you will be part of a small, friendly team, providing essential administrative support to our functional business area, directors, and management teams.About UsAt Abbott Diabetes Care, we are at the forefront of innovation, designing and manufacturing cutting-edge glucose monitoring systems for both home and hospital use. Our Global Centre of Excellence for Medical Devices in Witney is pivotal in producing significant volumes of test strips and developing the next generation FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System.Key Responsibilities:
- Organising travel arrangements, including visas, flights, accommodation, and transport.
- Managing diaries for the Director and senior managers.
- Assisting with the creation of organisational charts and job descriptions.
- Tracking documents for approval.
- Coordinating Performance Excellence processes, including scheduling annual reviews and growth plans.
- Implementing systems for tracking headcount and managing staffing issues.
- Providing administrative support across the Division and ADC Witney site.
- Organising meetings, logistics, and department events.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the department, including managing shared resources and ordering supplies.
- Managing office facilities and distributing equipment for new starters.
- Handling procurement responsibilities within budget.
- Compiling and coordinating monthly meeting data and reports.
- Managing departmental expenses.
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent attention to detail and a logical, methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships across departments.
- Hands-on practical skills for working in the manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency in IT, including Excel and PowerPoint.
