The Role
This position is based in our Bandung Office and offered under a 6-month contract arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute contingency business development strategies to close revenue gaps.
- Assess ongoing general trade initiatives, monitor performance, and propose corrective actions where needed.
- Identify new revenue opportunities within general trade (e.g., channel expansion, partnerships, tactical programs) to strengthen performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain) to align on execution plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and other stakeholders to accelerate opportunity realization.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on initiative progress, risks, and business opportunities.
- Monitor business performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend improvements for long-term growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in FMCG/General Trade, Route-to-Market, Distribution Management, or Business Development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven success in scaling GT coverage. Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills across distributor and GT ecosystems
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create tactical market strategies under tight timelines.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate general trade performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Willing to be based in Bandung and travel as required for business purposes.
