The Business Strategist plays a key role within the strategy & steering for the Commercial function, shaping the long-term direction and ensuring we focus on the areas that drive the greatest customer and business value. The role is responsible for translating H&M Customer Experience ambitions, regional needs, customer insights, and business priorities into a clear strategic direction, actionable roadmaps, and efficient governance structures.
By connecting strategy, performance, and execution across units, the Business Strategist ensures alignment, clarity, and progress toward the 3–5 year ambitions and strategic shifts for the Commercial function.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Business Strategist, you work closely with function management and key stakeholders across Commerical and broader H&M. You drive key cross-functional strategic initiatives and ensure effective strategic steering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead work to define direction for H&M Experience, key shifts, and facilitate unit ownership of the strategy
- Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives, collaborating with key business functions
- Securing alignment between overall strategy and totality of functions’ strategic initiatives
- Lead and support steering and governance processes to ensure strategic priorities are executed effectively and progress is tracked
- Work closely together with function management and key strategy stakeholders, ensuring prioritization in line with strategic direction
- Develop a deep understanding of our business and be the person that can guide and empower the leaders in setting the right focus to ensure long-term objectives are met

To succeed in this role, you also have:
