The Solution Architect within the Capital Partners Technology Organization develops and manages strategic initiatives as part of an expanding portfolio of Capital Partners technology transformation. The individual will build an overall, detailed technology roadmap by collaborating across business and technology teams to ensure alignment to investment direction for a rapidly growing business line. This requires an understanding of business challenges as well as technical capabilities to effectively guide key stakeholders to select or develop new products that address business imperatives. The individual will lead and support aspects of large technology platform selection, architecture design, resolution of issues, to successfully deliver on roadmap goals. As a senior leader working closely with our business counterparts, the individual will evolve the technology strategy in line with business needs. You will be ‘at the table’ providing active consulting services in business technology ideation, current state assessment, and future demand. In addition, the individual provides updates and communicates effectively to oversight committees, sponsors, stakeholders, and other program/project managers and key participants.

Primary Responsibilities

• Define a comprehensive, detailed multi-year business technology roadmap, inclusive of vendor and custom development across multiple platforms and needs
• Idea generation with related controls to ensure sound design for the multi-year roadmap, with the ability to evaluate a business idea for technical fit into the current plan
• Assist with architectural decisions of critical product development, including vendor management, and steward critical decision making across all stakeholders
• Identify and recommend solution designs on the strategic roadmap that strike the right balance of commercially valuable, operationally efficient, and aligned with BBH’s risk appetite
• Command of strategic business technology objectives, including understanding buy vs build decisioning, working with business and technology to drive direction and decisioning
• Effectively analyze data and provide subject matter expertise for consultation and solution recommendations across business and technology
• Ability to represent the Technology organization in interactions with Capital Partners business line
• Excellent communication skills across many audiences, from Clients to Engineers to Executives
• Work across teams to deliver full product solutions aligned with the roadmap
• Experience delivering products and services in Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC frameworks
