We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Manager / Senior Manager who can lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions across the Institutional Securities Group. Partner with business and technology teams to identify high-value AI opportunities, define product roadmaps, architect scalable solutions, and deliver production-grade AI capabilities that improve productivity, automate workflows, and enhance business outcomes.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience delivering AI products, AI agents, and workflow automation while collaborating across business, engineering, architecture, and UX teams in an Agile environment. They should possess good Global Markets domain knowledge, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and a passion for driving AI innovation that delivers measurable business value.
The Business Solutions Group (BSG) team sits within Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Securities Group (ISG) and functions as an in-house management consulting team supporting the firm with strategic program management and delivery, large-scale transformation, operational improvement, and regulatory change or remediation. The team partners with individual business lines, Legal/Risk/Compliance, and senior firm leadership to drive initiatives to completion.

What you'll do in the role:
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and translate high-value business problems into scalable AI, Generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions.
Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, process mapping, and development of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and functional specifications.
Convert complex business requirements into scalable technical solution designs by collaborating with engineering, architecture, UX, and data teams. Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards, APIs, integration patterns, and security requirements.
Manage the complete lifecycle of AI products and initiatives - from ideation and prioritization through design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous enhancement - using Agile delivery methodologies.
Define solution architectures for GenAI copilots, AI agents, workflow automation, and LLM-powered applications utilizing prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, Python, and modern AI technologies to deliver scalable, reusable enterprise capabilities.
Build strong partnerships with business leaders, technology, architecture, UX/UI, data science, risk, compliance, and operations teams to ensure successful solution delivery and stakeholder alignment across multiple initiatives.
Apply design thinking principles to create intuitive user experiences by developing wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys using tools such as Figma or Miro, ensuring solutions address business needs and maximize user adoption.
Analyse business processes and operational data to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation. Measure solution performance using KPIs and continuously optimize AI products to improve productivity, decision-making, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
Develop executive-ready presentations, solution proposals, roadmaps, and status updates for senior leadership. Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences while managing multiple priorities, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agent orchestration
Business analysis and requirements gathering (BRDs, user stories, process mapping)
Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
Knowledge of solution architecture, APIs, system integrations, and enterprise technology patterns
UX/UI design thinking and wireframing (Figma, Miro, or similar)
Python and familiarity with AI frameworks
Agile product management and iterative delivery methodologies
Strong data analysis and technology acumen, with experience leveraging data, analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, and automation tools to improve decision-making, streamline processes, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Proven ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Proven experience developing partnerships with and successfully coordinating across various business and functional stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately.
Strong presentation skills, including ability to create polished PowerPoint presentations for various levels of management.
Independent self-starter who can manage multiple activities to aggressive deadlines.
Eagerness to learn the business and understand detailed technical requirements.
Qualifications
4–8 years of experience in AI consulting, digital transformation, product management, or solution architecture
Experience building or implementing GenAI copilots, AI agents, or enterprise workflow automation solutions
Developed BRDs, functional specifications, and technical design documents for engineering teams
Worked across business, technology, UX, and architecture teams in a cross-functional environment
Experience deploying AI solutions
Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, and enterprise security considerations
Experience building reusable AI platforms rather than one-off solutions
Experience with design systems and rapid prototyping tools
Good working knowledge of the Sales & Trading / Global Markets ecosystem, including trading products (e.g., Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Rates, Credit, Derivatives), trade lifecycle, market structure, risk management, financial and regulatory drivers, and front-to-back operating processes.
Prior roles within a global investment bank or asset management firm.
