Job Summary:
The Business Resiliency Specialist III is responsible for working closely with customers, business partners, project managers, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards.
Essential Functions:
- Provide guidance, training and work direction to less experienced Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) personnel
- Coordinate BC/DR Program to ensure the availability and integrity of applications, data, data systems, and data networks across the entire organization
- Coordinate and oversee design and implementation of disaster recovery processes and procedures for re-establishing servers, databases, networks, and operating systems in the event of a disruption, both minor and catastrophic
- Coordinate and analyze annual disaster simulations for the prompt restoration of services
- Recommend changes or modify solutions as necessary to implement enhancements, resolve production problems, or improve operating efficiency
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of actual recovery plan implementation and efforts, including initial emergency response, recovery procedures, and business resumption processes
- Recommend and implement disaster avoidance strategies and impact reduction strategies
- Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of policies, procedures and associated plans for disaster recovery administration and business continuity based on industry-standard best practices
- Ensure that company equipment, systems, services, and facility are compliant with disaster recovery plans and procedures
- Confer with IT department and other key personnel to determine if changes in hardware or software configurations affect disaster recovery plans
- Develop and maintain technical and scalability documents
- Develop, document, and maintain short and long term plans
- Keep current with emerging security alerts and issues
- Create and maintain metrics reports that track the recoverability of IT systems and applications
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
- Five (5) years’ experience in Business Continuity/Business Resiliency, disaster recovery, or crisis management, to include a minimum of three (3) years in Disaster Recovery, is required
- Health plan, Managed care, process improvement and/or business analysis experience is preferred

- Familiarity of Disaster Recovery Tools and techniques

Compensation Range:
$94,100.00 - $164,800.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
