Position Summary:
Ace Money Transfer is expanding its product offerings to include business-focused financial services. To support this strategic growth, the company is seeking a Business Research Executive responsible for conducting in-depth market research, evaluating business opportunities, and generating insights that guide the successful launch and adoption of new business products.
This role plays a critical part in understanding market needs, identifying potential business clients, analysing industry trends, and supporting cross-functional teams with data-driven insights for effective product rollout and market penetration.
Job Responsibilities:
 
  1. Market & Industry Research
     
  • Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and emerging opportunities within the financial services sector.
  • Analyse competitor offerings, pricing structures, product features, and market positioning.
  • Evaluate regulatory, economic, and technological factors impacting the business product landscape.
  • Prepare research reports, dashboards, and presentations summarising insights and recommendations.
     
  1. Business Opportunity Assessment
     
  • Identify potential business clients and segments aligned with Ace Money Transfer’s strategic goals.
  • Assess client needs, industry requirements, and potential product-market fit.
  • Support creation of segmentation models, customer personas, and opportunity prioritisation frameworks.
     
  1. Product & Strategy Support
     
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to align research insights with product development and go-to-market planning.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for product features, pricing, partnerships, and market entry strategies.
  • Assist in preparing business cases, feasibility assessments, and ROI evaluations for new product initiatives.
     
  1. Launch & Execution Support
     
  • Support planning and coordination of product rollout activities
  • Help develop targeted marketing and outreach strategies using research-backed insights.
  • Provide analytical support to the sales team, including customer profiling, lead qualification data, and competitive analysis.
     
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
     
  • Work closely with internal departments (Product, Marketing, Sales, Compliance, and Operations) to ensure smooth execution of business objectives.
  • Participate in brainstorming workshops, strategy discussions, and performance review sessions.

Qualifications and Skills:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in market research, business analysis, or business development—preferably within financial services or fintech.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in research methodologies, data gathering, and insight generation.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into business strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with analytical tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of financial services, payments, remittances
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple research tasks simultaneously.
