We are seeking a talented individual to join our Application Development team for Marsh Risk Technology This role will be based in Cluj Napoca. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
What can you expect?
You will design, maintain and evolve the functional architecture of the SAM Information System, including business/functional mapping and information-system risk mapping. You will organize and run acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing for projects and functional enhancements, contribute to change management, and help implement and maintain IT methodology. You will translate company strategy into the IS scope you cover and act as a bridge between users, development and production teams.

We will count on you to:
Design and maintain the SAM Information System functional architecture, the IS mapping (business and functional areas) and associated risk mapping.
Organize, coordinate and maintain UAT and regression testing activities (projects, functional enhancements), including test scenarios and datasets.
Translate user needs into clear functional specifications and document decisions, scope, milestones and plans for projects and enhancements.
Coordinate with Development and Production teams to align goals, dependencies and timelines; track progress and maintain traceability of tasks and deliverables.
Provide day-to-day user support and respond promptly to production incidents.
Contribute to application and technical discussions and decisions; factor Development/Production constraints into functional requirements.
Maintain and publish functional documentation, contribute to IS mapping, and document processes related to architecture, design and change management.
Support continuous improvement of IT working methods to increase system maintainability and delivery quality.
Communicate issues, achievements and risks to stakeholders and exercise autonomy with clear boundaries for responsiveness and decision-making.
What you need to have:
4–7 years of relevant MOA/BA experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
Good understanding of the insurance business, with ability to develop deeper domain mastery over time.
Proven ability to respond promptly to production issues and to operate in delivery-focused project environments.
Strong command of IT project delivery methodologies and understanding of web-related architectures.
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SSMS).
Experience with Office 2016 tools and Jira Service Management.
Experience with SquashTM or equivalent test management tools.
French: excellent reading, writing and speaking (C1 required).
English: good communication skills (B2 required).
