In this role, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to support our dedicated teams within the back-office and account administration functions. The candidate will support our Client Experience team and by extension our registered Portfolio Manager and Investment Broker clients. The Client Experience Team is the ‘go to’ for our clients and the corresponding relationship is based on the trust they have in our expertise and ability to support them effectively. We are looking for someone who works calmly in a fast-paced environment and ensures work is completed in a timely fashion. This is an entry-level role that is primarily non-client facing with ample room for career growth.

 What You Will Do 

  • Processing and review account openings 
  • Journal entry and other trade related administrative tasks 
  • Processing client account updates and related tasks 
  • Registered income account updates 
  • Registered accounts Processing (includes RESP, RDSP etc.) 
  • Processing and following up on internal and external asset transfers 
  • RESP Withdrawal Processing (EAP, PSE, NCW, AIP) and generating RESP Breakdown 
  • Unlocking of locked-in accounts (LIRA, LRSP, LIF etc.) 
  • Pending Close/Freeze account and balances write-offs 
  • Book value update entry 

You Will Bring 

  • Previous experience in the Mutual Fund industry and/or customer service role is preferred 
  • Post-secondary education 
  • Knowledge of Back Office functions 
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work efficiently and independently to meet daily deadlines  
  • Detailed-oriented, extremely self-motivated and dedicated, and a good team player  
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications 
  • Ability to thrive in a growing/dynamic environment 
  • Canadian Securities Course, IFIC, PFP and other industry courses would be an asset 
  • Comfort in using and learning new software systems 

This role follows our in‑office work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is$34,320 to $58,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program. In addition, The Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
