About the role
As a Regional BPI (Business Process Improvement) Engineer, you will help improve operational performance across DP World sites by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, increase efficiency, reduce waste, and support sustainable business growth.
Working across multiple locations, you will partner with Operations, Engineering, IT, Finance, and other business functions to deliver continuous improvement initiatives that create measurable value. This role combines process improvement, data analysis, and project delivery to support operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business performance.
How you will contribute
- Lead and support business process improvement projects across logistics, warehousing, and operational sites to improve productivity, quality, service, and cost performance.
- Analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop practical, data-driven solutions.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving tools to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize, plan, and deliver improvement initiatives that support business objectives.
- Support the design and optimization of facility layouts, workflows, labor utilization, material flow, and operational capacity.
- Track project performance, benefits realization, and key metrics to ensure successful delivery of operational and financial outcomes.
- Facilitate continuous improvement activities, including process reviews, workshops, and operational assessments.
- Support strategic customer and business initiatives through analytical insights and operational expertise.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
What you will bring
- Experience delivering process improvement, engineering, operational excellence, or supply chain projects within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, process mapping, value stream mapping, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Experience managing projects and collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using process improvement, engineering, or supply chain systems and tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present recommendations and influence outcomes at different levels of an organization.
- Flexibility to travel within the region to support operational sites and project delivery.
