Job vacancy: Business Process Analyst

Your responsibility will be to apply best-in-class Business Process Analysis methodologies and tools when reviewing, designing, improving and automating processes, while leveraging emerging AI capabilities to maximize value creation and support the strategic ambitions of the organization.

You will contribute to delivering end-to-end transformation initiatives where process optimization, automation and AI are designed as interconnected capabilities.

In this role you will,

  • Assess existing processes, workflows, and systems within the bank to identify inefficiencies and support the development of automation solutions through existing user interfaces;
  • Leverage leading automation and AI technologies—including VBA, RPA (UI Path), Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate AI, and workflow management systems—to design, configure, and test smart solutions that simplify processes and create meaningful operational impact;
  • Contribute to integration of AI capabilities into processes;
  • Collaborate with AI delivery teams;
  • Collect and Analyze data using statistical tools to identify process bottlenecks and root causes, enabling data-driven decision-making;
  • Recommend and implement process improvements, organizational changes, and operational strategies to enhance efficiency;
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of process improvements;
  • Prepare reporting and governance deliverables;
  • Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities;
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, conduct research, and facilitate the implementation of innovative solutions;
  • Maintain an agreed set of artifacts and lead business process mapping and efficiency work, including methodology and approach, workshop facilitation, and maintenance of appropriate business process analysis and enterprise-wide requirements, to support the wider change agenda;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, identify opportunities for process automation, and implement solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of:

  • A Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, IT or any equivalent field;
  • At least 8 years’ of professional experience, including 5 years’ in process review/automation;
  • Lean Six Sigma certification/training would be an advantage.

    OR 

  • A Diploma in Business, Finance, Engineering, IT or any equivalent field;
  • At least 10 years’ of professional experience, including 7 years’ in process review/automation;
  • Lean Six Sigma certification/training would be an advantage

You will also be required to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of MCB’s Banking process and applications; 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365;
  • Knowledge of development tools such as VBA/RPA/Workflow/Microsoft Power Automate/ Microsoft CoPilot Studio or similar platforms; 
  • Exposure or interest in AI technologies;
  • Project management skills;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Presentation and persuading skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Proactive mindset for continuous learning and innovation.
