Business Pricing Analyst

As a Business Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting pricing strategy and revenue optimization across a diverse European product portfolio. Your mission will be to deliver clear, timely, and actionable insights that empower commercial teams to make data-driven decisions. Role Responsibilities:
As a Business Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing ongoing pricing performance across a portfolio of over 1,000 products and identifying opportunities to optimize revenue and margin.
- Acting as an analytical thought partner to the Pricing Manager and Regional Commercial Leadership on pricing-related topics.
- Translating insights from pricing models into clear business recommendations to support price negotiations and strategic decisions.
- Delivering weekly and monthly reporting on pricing performance, market trends, and commercial KPIs (volume, margin, price).
- Collaborating with sales and commercial teams to communicate risks, gaps, and opportunities in pricing execution.
- Building and maintaining pricing models and scenario analyses to assess the impact of pricing changes on profitability.
- Supporting the discounting process across European markets and contributing to forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Leveraging tools such as Excel and Power BI to develop dashboards and reporting solutions; supporting continuous improvement of pricing tools and processes.
- Contributing to the ongoing simplification of the product portfolio and focus on value-added products.
Experience and Competencies:
We are looking for experienced candidates who thrive at the intersection of finance and business, enjoy working with data, and are eager to influence commercial outcomes.
What we are looking for:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in pricing, financial analysis, or commercial finance.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of profitability drivers.
- Experience working with large product portfolios and SKU-level analysis.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
- Experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, SAP, IBM Planning Analytics, or Business Warehouse is a plus (but not required).
- Proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and business-relevant way.
- Confident in collaborating with senior stakeholders and challenging assumptions constructively.
- Independent self-starter with attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
