About this role
As a Tactical & Strategic Planner, you will play a key role in driving short-term and long-term workforce and operational planning. You will lead the Tactical Planning process locally, refine forecasts, and partner with stakeholders to optimise performance and efficiency. This position applies practical knowledge of planning and supply chain processes, works independently with general supervision, and acts as a trusted advisor to influence key decisions.
Key responsibilities
Tactical Planning
- Lead the Tactical Planning process at a local level
- Analyse planning and operational KPI trends to support data-driven decisions
- Work closely with the F&P Team Lead and local stakeholders to refine order volume forecasts, hiring demand, and country strategies
- Collaborate with the Country Recruitment team to ensure workforce quality
Strategic Planning
- Conduct trend analysis on order volumes and KPIs to inform cross-functional decisions
- Facilitate scenario planning to refine strategic objectives
- Influence cross-functional teams on key business matters
Target and Performance Management
- Partner with the F&P Team Lead to execute planning KPI targets
- Monitor planning performance against targets and provide actionable insights
Continuous Improvement / Tactical Planning
- Act as the local Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Tactical Planning processes and tools
- Promote a mindset of change and continuous improvement in partnership with the Global Organisation
- Identify opportunities to enhance planning quality to optimise country performance and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement global process and tool improvements locally
Your profile & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, analytics or consultancy roles
- Experience in resource requirement planning and strategic planning
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and data tools (Excel and Tableau)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans that drive results
