Job Summary
The Business Partner Master Data Owner (Customer and Supplier) manages and governs Business Partner, Customer and Supplier master data across enterprise wide Sandoz processes, ensuring data integrity, quality, governance, and compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities
Represents the ISRC organization within the STEP program.
- Own the Business Partner, Customer and Supplier master data governance framework and global standards aligned with Sandoz policies.
- Oversee and continuously improve Business Partner, Customer and Supplier master data processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across ERP/CRM/ SRM / analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define, enforce, and evolve data standards and stewardship roles.
- Monitor and report data quality (completeness, validity, consistency); drive corrective actions and preventive improvements.
- Lead data cleansing and enrichment initiatives; measure impact on data reliability and downstream processes.
- Provide training and guidance to users and data stewards on governance processes, tools, and best practices.
- Serve as the bridge between IT and business during transformations, migrations, and integrations to safeguard data design and controls.
- Conduct regular audits/assessments to ensure adherence to governance policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., privacy).
- Drive continuous improvement and automation to enhance master data lifecycle efficiency and control effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
Work Experience:
- 10+ years overall SAP experience, with 5+ years in SAP MDG architecture and SAP MDG-BP, MDG-C,MDG-S.
- Strong knowledge of the Business Partner, Customer and supplier domain and related processes (Commercial, Purchasing, Finance, Compliance).
- Proven leadership of data migration, integration, and governance initiatives in large‑scale environments.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills focused on data accuracy and process optimization.
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data analysis methodologies.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles, controls, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across organizational levels.
- Good - to -have:
- SAP S/4, SAP MDG, Ariba systems experience.
- Professional certifications in Data Governance / SAP MDG.
