The Business Partner Account Specialist is responsible for the ongoing service, retention, and operational success of assigned partner accounts at a designated location. The Account Specialist serves as the primary representative of their location and is accountable for maintaining business continuity, operational excellence, and partner trust.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned partners within the location.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships through timely communication, accurate fulfillment, consistent engagement and follow‑through.
- Anticipate partner needs and proactively address risks, concerns, or opportunities.
Account Ownership & Fulfillment
- Ensure all partner commitments, agreements, and deliverables are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Work with internal teams as needed to resolve account issues while retaining ownership of outcomes.
Communication
- Communicate clearly and professionally with Partners using both verbal and written channels.
- Handle difficult or sensitive conversations with empathy, professionalism, and confidence, de‑escalating situations when necessary.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Act as a subject matter expert for products, services, and standardized business practices and policies, both internally and externally.
- Provide guidance and recommendations that align partner success with business standards.
Decision‑Making Authority
- Exercise sound judgement to make routine decisions for assigned partners within established leadership guidelines and policies.
- Handle escalations, exceptions, and service issues by applying appropriate solutions within standardized business practices and policies.
- Balance partner satisfaction with organizational priorities and operational realities.
Business Maintenance & Optimization
- Focus on consistency, and long‑term account health rather than new business acquisition.
- Monitor account performance and address gaps before they impact partner confidence.
- Identify incremental improvements that enhance service quality and reliability.

The physical demands of this position are typical for a desk job. You will be at a desk most of the day, typically with the option to sit or stand. You may have to lift/exert up to 10 lbs. of force on occasion. The full physical requirements of this job are available upon request.
