How we LEAD:
We are seeking a Business Partner Account Manager in our Digital Operations group that globally supports UMG’s owned and associated labels to set up new releases, manages the ongoing delivery of new releases and catalogue to business partners, and drives the introduction of new processes, product types and services with a continuous improvement focus.
In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for and oversee designated aspects of Business Partner operations. The candidate will act as the key operational UMG contact for assigned partners and be a key internal point of contact for the Digital Strategy, Commercial, Business & Legal Affairs, and Rights teams for new partner developments, onboarding activities, and emerging digital initiatives.
How You’ll CREATE
Business Partner Onboarding & Approval Process Implementation
Ensure the agreed partner setup process required between Business & Legal Affairs and the global digital supply chain is implemented in response to partner account setup requests.
Business Partner Account Management & Internal UMG Account Support
Manage the ongoing operational and technical relationship management of UMG digital business partners and raise issues with effective communication. Provide partner-specific operational guidance and best practices to internal stakeholders to support successful content delivery and issue resolution.
Data Stewardship
Run, analyze, and reconcile repertoire data using comparison techniques as needed for specialized business partner activities.
Maintain and update digital records, including version control and replacements. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and process adherence.
Business Partner Fulfillment Support
Manage individual partner content fulfillment as appropriate and in line with partner and UMG business expectations. Act as point of contact for Label Production & Release
Support Management teams to troubleshoot content and technical issues with designated partners.
Business Partner Catalog Backfill
Manage catalog backfill initiatives as assigned across the global digital supply chain. Remedy catalog gaps due to ingestion incidents and support catalog expansion efforts as necessary.
Act as a liaison within UMG for operational and technical integration activities related to catalog availability, distribution capabilities, and repertoire management enhancements.
Digital Supply Chain Improvements
Specify future enhancements as noted from technical relationships with partners. Observe global digital supply chain processes and identify key areas for improvement.
Support the implementation of new digital fulfillment guidance for emerging digital initiatives, evolving content management capabilities, and new partner requirements.
Emerging Business Models & Partner Operations
Support operational readiness for new partner types, products, and services, including AI-related platforms and emerging technologies where applicable.
Coordinate with the Business Partner Account Management team leader to evaluate onboarding requirements, operational impacts, and ongoing support models for evolving business opportunities.
Meeting Attendance and Participation
Organize and participate in meetings as necessary to meet UMG and business partner objectives.
