Document model assumptions, inputs, and outputs for audit and compliance purposes.
Work with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure models meet regulatory standards.
Assist with model testing, ongoing monitoring, procedure creation and enhancements.
Maintain awareness of changes in regulations and industry best practices.
Perform daily clearing and reconciliation of payment operations-related general ledger accounts.
Identify and resolve discrepancies between payment systems and ledger entries.
Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Analyze and monitor daily payment activities including wire transfers, RTP, and SWIFT transactions.
Investigate and resolve payment exceptions, delays, internal and customer inquiries.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of payment instructions across platforms.
Ensure adherence to banking regulations including OFAC, AML,
Support internal audits and regulatory examinations with required documentation and analysis.
Generate reports on payment volumes, error rates, and operational performance.
Identify trends and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
Participate in cross-functional projects to implement new payment technologies and systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in banking operations, payment processing, or treasury services.
Previous experience working with core banking systems and payment platforms.
Strong understanding of commercial banking payment systems (ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT, RTP).
Experience with general ledger reconciliation and financial controls.
Familiarity with model validation concepts and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Proficient PC/Internet skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to respond quickly to inquiries and manage competing priorities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
Adaptable to changing priorities and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
2+ years or experience in analytical field
2+ years’ experience in SQL
Experience using statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS)
Knowledge of quantitative research and data science techniques
Strong data interpretation, data visualization and presentation skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Strong problem solving, and analytical skills required
Previous model development and tuning experience strongly preferred
Previous Banking/ Financial Services experience preferred
