A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Business Ops Support reporting to Senior Business Manager in the Fixed Wireless Engineering Portfolio Delivery team.
A bit about your role
In this role, you will support the Senior Business Manager to maintain financial discipline and operational rigour across the Fixed Wireless Engineering portfolio. Manage budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities, ensuring accurate tracking of opex and capex and alignment across systems and governance artefacts. Oversee end-to-end purchase order management, ensuring compliance with approved budgets, policies, and audit requirements.
Contribute to request governance by reviewing SOWs and supplier submissions against commercial guardrails, supporting compliant and cost-effective engagements. Partner with Finance, Procurement, Delivery teams and vendors to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and maintain a clear view of spend and commitments. Drive consistency across reporting, operating rhythms and processes, improving data integrity, efficiency, and visibility across the portfolio.
A bit about you
You bring experience in business operations, finance support, procurement, or portfolio/PMO environments, ideally within a complex or regulated setting. You have strong numerical and analytical capability, with a focus on accuracy, financial governance, and managing high volumes of transactional activity.
You operate effectively in structured environments, can manage competing priorities, and identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce manual effort. You are confident working with financial systems and Excel, and proactive in resolving discrepancies and improving data quality.
You build effective working relationships across Finance, Procurement, Delivery teams and suppliers, and communicate clearly to support coordination and issue resolution. You take a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and contribute to a well-managed, compliant and efficient operating environment.
