Summary
Engages in a role for the Commercial Success team that directly supports business operations by managing the IDeaS price book to achieve the strategic goals of the organization. Leads and manages the internal communication plan for the department to ensure updates are communicated on a timely basis. Responsible for coordinating with the Sales enablement team by updating Commercial Success created training material. Performs research, analysis, and coordination in support of department activities on initiatives such as communication management, policy and procedure development, and strategic analysis.
Major Responsibilities

  • Maintains and updates price books in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all channels. Defines the product addition, modification, deletion process and makes changes as business dynamics evolve. Investigates options, recommends courses of action, and drives implementation of initiatives related to continuous improvement regarding streamlining price book operations.
  • Master the quote-to-cash process to understand the impact of price changes on the quote-to-cash process.
  • Ensures price book hygiene to reduce sales team re-work due to unnecessary complexity.
  • Collaborates with sales and product teams to ensure that prices are correctly set and communicated.
  • Identifies and resolves pricing discrepancies and errors.
  • Works closely with finance teams to ensure that pricing strategies align with financial goals and objectives.
  • Develops and maintains reports and dashboards to track pricing performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drives the Commercial Success external communication workflow.
  • Collaborates with Internal Communication team to ensure team message is received by organization.
  • Reviews other Commercial Success team members communications to ensure message consistency.
  • Leads design and relevancy of team's SharePoint page.
  • Coordinate training material created by the Commercial Success team; provide feedback on how to make material more impactful. Work with the sales enablement team to ensure the material is properly uploaded and formatted in the sales learning tool.
  • Curate Commercial Success training material.
  • Builds relationships with internal clients that characterize partnership, cooperation, and trust.
  • Assists Sr Business Operations Specialists on their projects as requested.


Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies, Education & Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of five years of experience researching, analyzing and/or reporting information related to specific area of assignment.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related applications
  • Ability to lead project teams and gain consensus.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent knowledge and competence in related business functional area
  • Strong accounting, math, and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze solutions for business operations environment.
  • Ability to design and support improvement processes.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure; ability to prioritize projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to give attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to travel as, as needed.
