Job Summary:

As a member of the Clear Channel Outdoor sales operations team, the Learning and Development Specialist supports the execution of strategic learning and development related initiatives that sustain and improve revenue generation by the sales team and support employee compliance and retention. The Specialist supports new initiatives by assisting in the gathering and analysis of data, the preparation of project documentation and e-learning content and testing new applications for functionality. This position also supports on-going initiatives by recording, analyzing, and resolving sales team support requests, and by compiling, formatting, and distributing reports. This role not only responds to ad hoc requests with excellent customer service skills, but anticipates future requests based on a deep understanding of business objectives and develops recommendations for additional improvement. The position will report to the Manager, Learning and Development in Sales Operations, and supports other leaders on specific projects, as assigned.

                                                                                                    

Job Responsibilities


  • Support sales by facilitating efficient use of L&D resources across related departments
    • Provide excellent internal customer service in response to LMS/L&D support requests
    • Diplomatically reinforce adherence to standard processes and systems usage
  • Maintain up-to-date training courses/course materials, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
    • Update training materials based on process and systems changes
    • Assist in training of employees by creating and delivering content
    • Manage content knowledge management strategy of published course material
  • Administer LMS and supporting systems to ensure accuracy and usability
    • Enable ongoing access to employees
    • Regularly QC data and monitor system usage; test new features prior to release
    • Create and maintain list of enhancement requests, and document requirements
  • Publish courses and e-learning material to meet Cornerstone LMS course, reporting and tracking requirements.
  • Assist project teams by preparing schedules, status updates, communications, training materials, reports, performing testing, and providing user support as assigned

Job Qualifications


Education and Certifications


  • BA/BS degree in business, education, information systems, communications or related field.

Work Experience


  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, especially in media or other B2B sales environments preferred.

Skills


  • Proficiency with e-learning/SCORM publishing software (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word (incl. formatting), Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Proficiency with basic HTML or SQL to query data and with Microsoft Visio, Publisher, or similar preferred.
  • Administrative base-level Familiarity with Cornerstone or similar LMS applications. 
  • Experience supporting multiple teams including sales, marketing, IT and support.

Physical Demands


The demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Employee must have the ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day and complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands
  • The employee must have the ability to lift and move items up to 20 pounds
  • Employee must have the ability to see written documents, computer screens and to adjust focus
  • This job is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment

The Targeted Compensation Range for this New York position is:

Min: $37.50

Max: $51.50

Hourly roles are overtime eligible; Installer roles are Productivity Pay eligible.

Bonus eligible, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Ultimate compensation will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, scope and responsibility of the position, as well as pursuant to salary market benchmarks. This salary range is a good-faith estimate of the salary for this position.
