Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Senior or Expert Business Operations Specialist (level 4 or 5) to join the Fabrication MS&I Core Team in Auburn, Washington.
The Fabrication Business Operations Management System & Integration (MS&I) Core team is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and influential Business Operations Specialist to support the Fabrication Leadership Team (FLT) and drive integration across Fabrication MBUs. This role leads process improvement efforts, strengthens the Fabrication operating rhythm, owns and supports key FLT leadership meetings, and plays a critical role in aligning Core-level priorities across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment, demonstrates strong systems thinking, shows mature business judgment, and has a passion for operational excellence and organizational integration.
  • Lead the development, refinement, and deployment of process improvements across Fabrication MBUs by identifying gaps, designing and standardizing new workflows, leveraging M365-enabled tools and AI capabilities, assessing operational and business impacts, flowing improvements down through MBU teams, and integrating changes into the broader Fabrication Management System to ensure adoption and sustainment.
  • Support and strengthen the Fabrication operating rhythm by coordinating cadence elements, maintaining rhythm architecture, ensuring MS&I Core leadership forum readiness, managing meeting flow and facilitation needs, capturing and communicating actions, and reinforcing linkages across MS&I Core-owned leadership forums.
  • Own and support Fabrication Leadership Team (FLT) meetings - including meetings such as FLT SAM - by managing meeting structure, planning and scheduling cycles, coordinating preparation expectations, enabling leadership decision flow, and ensuring comprehensive post-meeting follow-through across all assigned leadership actions.
  • Serve as a cross-MBU integrator by connecting priorities, coordinating operational and program dependencies, ensuring consistent application of Core-driven processes, identifying risks and opportunities in cross-MBU alignment, and partnering with stakeholders to develop clear and actionable mitigation plans.
  • Lead and execute special projects, which may include Coded Projects, by applying disciplined project management and integration practices, shaping scope and structure, coordinating cross-MBU and functional stakeholders, and driving risk-aware, business-aligned outcomes from initiation through implementation.
  • Build strong, collaborative, and influential relationships across MBUs and functional teams by fostering trust, understanding diverse operational perspectives, aligning on shared priorities, and effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders to support process improvements, leadership meeting readiness, and MS&I Core objectives.
  • Drive clear, proactive communication of process changes, operating rhythm expectations, leadership direction, and MS&I Core priorities across FLT, MBU, and functional networks to ensure alignment and readiness.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics and operational support for MS&I Core-sponsored leadership engagements - including Business Operations Fireside Chats, Fabrication Leadership Team offsites, and other MS&I Core activities - ensuring seamless preparation, communication, and execution.
