Job Description

Support for Public Tenders & Regulatory Compliance:

Partner with the sales team to provide compliance guidance on public tender processes and regulatory requirements in Spain. Support the review of tender submissions and related documentation (for compliance) to mitigate risk and guarantee accuracy.

Keep stakeholders informed about changes in public procurement regulations and their impact on business operations.

Internal Whistleblowing Channel Management:

Manage the company’s internal whistleblowing channel, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Investigate whistleblower reports in collaboration with relevant departments while maintaining confidentiality.

Develop and maintain whistleblowing policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and transparency; develop any training related to WB.

Local contact with EthicsLine and any other global relevant department

Compliance Program & Risk Management:

Oversee the company’s compliance program, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulations.

Coordinate compliance audits and provide detailed reports to senior management and external regulators.

Track regulatory updates and implement necessary changes to compliance processes and systems.

Act as a central point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance across departments.

Cross-Functional Regulatory Support:

Collaborate with various functions (sales, operations, finance, etc.) to explain how legal or regulatory changes impact their activities.

Deliver training sessions to departments on compliance obligations, risk mitigation, and best practices.

Support teams in adapting to new regulations or policies and ensure smooth implementation.

High-Level Administrative Functions:

Organize and manage compliance-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and summaries for management regarding compliance and regulatory risks.

Coordinate key regulatory submissions and ensure deadlines are met.

Maintain calendars and schedules for compliance activities, audits, and legal reviews.

Business Operations Optimization:

Work closely with sales teams to streamline processes and ensure operational efficiency while complying with regulatory requirements.

Provide recommendations to improve business practices and minimize risks related to compliance and procurement.

Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between business objectives and legal requirements.


Basic Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, internal audit, consultancy, or management of internal investigations.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Spanish and European legislation relevant to the role, as well as common compliance standards. Ability to interpret legislation and translate it into policies and procedures.

  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is required - spoken and written

  • Soft skills: Analytic skills, problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Integrity, objectivity, impeccable professional ethics, and a high degree of discretion. Organizational and project management skills. Ability to work autonomously and excellent collaboration abilities. Resilience and the capacity to handle sensitive and challenging situations.
