Anaplan is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER to support the APPLICATIONS TEAM as part of the Global Product and Technology Organization (GPTO) in driving operational excellence, efficiency, and scalability, in our NEW YORK OFFICE

As a Business Operations Manager, you will have an opportunity to optimizing workflows, managing cross-functional processes, ensuring the timely delivery of business initiatives, and preparing key materials for leadership reviews. You will also play a pivotal role in facilitating cross-business-unit alignment, managing and reporting on strategic goals, and supporting the execution of long-term plans.

Insight on your impact

Leadership Review Preparation: 

  • Develop and deliver professional, data-driven content and reports for leadership reviews, ensuring all materials are accurate, well-structured, and delivered on time 
  • Consolidate inputs from cross-functional teams to present clear updates on roadmap progress, KPIs, and risks

 Process Optimization:  

  • Design, implement, and refine operational processes to enhance the efficiency of product development and delivery
  • Partner with our Applications and Go to Market teams to ensure that there is clear accountability for handoffs and next steps between groups

 Project Management:  

  • Oversee cross-functional initiatives, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of product team commitments

Data Analysis:  

  • Monitor and report on key metrics tied to business performance and delivery, identifying areas for improvement

Stakeholder Management:  

  • Act as the liaison between Applications and other teams (e.g., Engineering, Marketing, Sales), ensuring clear communication of priorities and updates

Risk Management:  

  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact execution or operational efficiency of Applications teams

Documentation:  

  • Maintain and update operational and roadmap documentation, including workflows, guidelines, and delivery schedules

Your qualifications, your influence

To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Operations, or a related field  
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, program management, or a similar role, ideally within a product-driven organization 
  • 12+ years of overall experience in technology industry 
  • Expertise in sales operations, leadership reporting, and new product introduction 
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives 
  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, and presentation tools (e.g. PowerPoint) 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams 
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and driving results
