About Destro AI

Destro AI is building the intelligence layer for robotics — the system that coordinates robots, humans, and workflows across complex real-world operations. Founded by former leaders from HAI Robotics, Dexterity, and Matic, Destro is built on a simple thesis: robotics has solved movement, but not decision-making. Destro is backed by investors who have previously invested in and built companies like Brex, Figma, Notion, and Instacart.

Destro's MothershipOS is a shared brain across all robots, unlocking complex factory and warehouse workflows. Unlike traditional systems that rely on local intelligence on each robot, Destro brings global intelligence across the entire operation. Destro recently closed its Seed round at one of the highest valuations for a robotics company at this stage, and is already deploying in production with large enterprise operators.

About The Role

We're hiring a Business Operations Lead to be the connective tissue between customers, sales, engineering, and the field once a deal closes. Robotics deployments are messy: they involve physical sites, live operations, and multiple internal teams that need to move in sync. This role exists to make that coordination systematic instead of ad hoc, covering everything from a signed contract through a stable, running customer site and the internal systems that support the sales and engineering teams behind it.

What You'll Do

Deployment Operations

  • Own deployment planning and execution from kickoff through go-live: site readiness, installation scheduling, training, and stabilization.
  • Coordinate across customer facilities, IT, and internal engineering and field teams so nothing falls through the cracks during a launch.
  • Track milestones, risks, and dependencies for every active deployment, and drive resolution when something threatens the timeline.
  • Build and refine the deployment playbook so each new site gets easier than the last.

Customer Operations

  • Own the ongoing customer relationship once a site is live, monitoring system performance and satisfaction over time.
  • Serve as the point of contact for customer change requests, escalations, and operational questions after launch.
  • Identify recurring pain points across customers and turn them into process or product feedback.

Sales Operations

  • Keep CRM data accurate and pipeline reporting reliable enough for leadership to trust it.
  • Support forecasting, deal tracking, and quota reporting for the sales team.
  • Build the reporting and dashboards that give leadership real visibility into pipeline and revenue.

Engineering Operations

  • Support engineering with resource planning and prioritization across product and deployment work.
  • Build the internal tooling and reporting that make it easier to track engineering output and deployment health.
  • Define and track the operational KPIs that show whether deployments and engineering work are actually on track.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in business operations, deployment or customer operations, strategy consulting, or investment banking, ideally with time at a high-growth startup.
  • Direct experience managing real-world, physical deployments; robotics, hardware, or industrial automation experience is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable acting as the single point of accountability across customers, sales, and engineering during a live deployment.
  • Strong with data: able to build dashboards, read them critically, and turn numbers into a decision.
  • Communicates equally well with a floor supervisor, a customer executive, and an internal engineer.
  • Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving instincts and comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments.
  • Track record of building or improving processes from scratch rather than just following existing ones.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Equity / Stock Option Plan
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Direct visibility into every part of the business, working closely with leadership across sales, engineering, and deployment
  • A genuine opportunity to build the operational backbone of a category-defining robotics company from the ground up

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in business operations, deployment or customer operations, strategy consulting, or investment banking
  • Experience in a high-growth startup
  • Direct experience managing real-world, physical deployments
  • Robotics, hardware, or industrial automation experience
  • Ability to act as the single point of accountability across customers, sales, and engineering during live deployments
  • Ability to build dashboards, critically interpret data, and use metrics to make decisions
  • Strong communication skills with floor supervisors, customer executives, and internal engineers
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments
  • Experience building or improving processes from scratch
  • Bachelor's degree
