The Role

Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining internal reports using Microsoft Office applications internal systems and external databases including IRI Spectra Mintel NPD ; creating ad hoc reports; running errands for the department; making copies filing; ordering samples for sales presentations; and any other project needs of the business operations team. Based on initiative this position offers the potential for exposure to accounting systems sales analysis and a financial perspective; customer service; large corporate environment; consumer packaged goods marketing experience; business planning; and enhancement of computer skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Incoming junior senior or MBA at least one year of school remaining required. Business or Animal Science majors preferred.

Experience: Previous work experience in any field.

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel familiarity with Access Word and PowerPoint.

Special Skills: Ability to multitask; motivated self-starter.

Location: Students must be within a commutable distance to the facility, which is 60 miles or less.

Please Note: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters.
