As a Business Operations Intern at Zipline, you will play a vital role in supporting initiatives that drive performance, scalability, and efficiency across our global operations. You will work with cross-functional partners including operations, strategy, product, and engineering to improve decision-making and execution at every level.

This role sits at the intersection of data, process, and people. You will support key operational projects, help develop tools and systems, and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement. You will gain exposure to high-impact workstreams while contributing to the systems that help Zipline operate faster, smarter, and more effectively.

• Support high-priority projects that improve operational efficiency, quality, or scalability
• Partner with teams across the company to document workflows and identify opportunities for streamlining
• Conduct operational analysis using available data to uncover insights and recommend improvements
• Build tools and resources that make processes easier to execute, measure, or automate
• Contribute to the implementation and rollout of new systems, programs, or process changes
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking the progress of strategic initiatives
• Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders
• Help develop business cases for new projects or process optimizations
• Shadow key meetings and workflows to better understand operational dependencies and priorities

• Passion for business operations, systems thinking, and problem-solving
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
• Comfort with ambiguity and the agility to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Analytical mindset and experience working with spreadsheets, dashboards, or basic SQL
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
• Curiosity and initiative to dive deep into challenges and ask the right questions
• Ability to translate complex information into simple, actionable recommendations
• Experience working with or supporting cross-functional projects is a plus
• Willingness to learn from both data and people to improve outcomes
