The Business Operations Governance & Portfolio Management Intern will support JAPAC Business Operations in coordinating strategic initiatives, governance activities and operating cadences across Digital Enablement, Analytics and Data Governance.

The role will act as a central coordinator for cross-functional activities, ensuring visibility of priorities, action items, capability health, enhancement requests and improvement initiatives across JAPAC. The intern will also support recurring business reviews with regional Commercial Excellence teams and help maintain alignment across multiple workstreams.

How you will make an impact:

Operating Cadence & Governance Coordination

  • Coordinate monthly JAPAC Business Operations reviews with regional Commercial Excellence teams.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, governance materials and action logs.
  • Track decisions, action items and follow-ups across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Support recurring operating rhythms across Digital Enablement, Analytics and Data Governance teams.

Portfolio & Capability Management

  • Maintain visibility of ongoing initiatives, enhancement requests and strategic priorities.
  • Support tracking of capability health, business feedback and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in maintaining capability inventories, roadmaps and prioritisation discussions.
  • Monitor recurring operational themes and emerging business needs across the region.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Facilitate information flow across Digital Enablement, Analytics and Data Governance teams.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and alignment activities.
  • Coordinate workshops, reviews and follow-up discussions.
  • Identify dependencies, risks and areas requiring leadership attention.

Executive Reporting & Communications

  • Support preparation of management reports, review packs and leadership presentations.
  • Consolidate updates and key messages from multiple teams into executive summaries.
  • Assist with preparation of regional and leadership review materials.

Continuous Improvement & Business Operations Support

  • Support process documentation and governance framework development.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve operating effectiveness, coordination and visibility.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve business planning, portfolio management and operational governance.

What you'll need (Required):

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Management
  • Availability to do an internship for 5 - 6 months

  • Provide visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies and capability improvement opportunities across JAPAC.
